When might counseling be helpful?

  • If you are waking during the night worried about a loved one or yourself

  • If you find it hard to relax

  • If, as a couple, you are concerned about arguing and wondering where the love that was is.

  • If you are worried about tension and lack of connection between family members.

  • If your child comes home from school saying he/she is stupid and/or is afraid to go to school

  • If your child tells you that classmates are mean to her/him

  • If your teenager is making poor choices and you are not sure what to say/do about them

  • If you are a teenager feeling isolated from your family

  • If you or a family member are facing a life-altering or frightening medical diagnosis

  • If you are worried about how much alcohol/prescription drugs you or a loved one use

  • If you are bored or feeling "in a rut" and you don't know what you can do about it

  • If you are twenty-three or twenty-five and don't know your future direction

  • If you want a long-term relationship, but haven't been able to sustain one or have been mistreated in relationships
